Jenica Eisenbach has been appointed PPG global technical service manager, Packaging Coatings.
Eisenbach brings more than 17 years of experience to PPG’s Packaging Coatings business. Spending most of her career at Anheuser-Busch, Eisenbach’s beverage expertise is centered around coatings, project management, technical support, quality and packaging.
During her tenure, Eisenbach worked in various roles including technical manager, quality systems manager, scientist, analyst and lab manager.
In her most recent role as technical manager at AB-InBev, MCC Technology, Eisenbach supported domestic and international can plants with gross line yield (GLY), spoilage reduction and equipment uptime initiatives while also conducting coatings trials and qualifications.
Through this experience, she worked closely with PPG and its partner manufacturers.
“I’m honoured to work for a company like PPG,” said Eisenbach. “Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with a variety of suppliers, and PPG has always gone above and beyond to serve its customers.
“My goal is to continue to build a global team of experts who deliver exceptional customer service and personalised technical support for our can manufacturers, many of whom are facing numerous challenges and constantly changing regulations.”
Unique to PPG, the technical services team provides consultation for every facet of the can manufacturing process including on-site technical training, laboratory and testing services and process improvement consultation. The team has more than 500 years of combined expertise, and many are former canmakers.
“Jenica’s expertise and enthusiasm is perfect for this leadership position,” said Patrick O’Neill, global technical director.
“For more than a decade, we’ve focused on building a best-in-class technical services program giving unparalleled access to world-class facilities and a highly skilled team committed to helping plants achieve production goals.
“We know Jenica’s passion for relationship building and leadership will take our technical services program to the next level.”
